Dalyz Limia is an associate attorney at Silverberg|Brito, PLLC. Born in Miami, Florida, her passion for the legal field comes from her desire to help others and to go above and beyond to ensure that everyone’s legal rights are honored. She loves to use her voice to help those in need. Her roles include leading cases through inception and discovery stages, attending hearings, taking depositions, defending depositions, drafting motions, reviewing motion drafts, speaking with clients, negotiating with insurance companies, settling cases and supervising her paralegal team. She does all this with dedication, communication and transparency.
While at FIU College of Law, Dalyz was the Notes Editor for the World Arbitration and Mediation Review. Dalyz was the treasurer the Hispanic Law Student Association. She also participated in the pro-bono Community Lawyering Clinic where she helped low-income families with immigration, guardianship and bankruptcy matters, and was awarded a medal of distinction for her pro-bono work.
Post-graduation, Dalyz entered the insurance litigation field to continue helping the community. She joined the legal field to help people in any way that she could, and being able to help people motivates her to stay in it. When she’s not fighting for her clients, Dalyz loves spending time with her family, playing video games and watching movies.
